NeuroPsych Account Specialist - Tucson AZ

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Account Specialist for a Tucson territory to drive product adoption and growth through strategic relationship management with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and payers. The role combines field-based sales execution with cross-functional collaboration to support neuropsychiatric and specialty pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Execute territory sales strategies and drive product acceptance through targeted education and account management
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, clinical staff, payers, advocacy groups, and care facilities
- Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers; manage promotional resources and budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams including managed care, marketing, patient access, and medical science liaisons
- Maintain full field presence Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field plus 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience
- 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical, long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales experience
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and FDA guidelines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record with willingness to travel within territory
- Experience in psychiatry, neurology, antipsychotic, or specialty pharmacy distribution preferred
