Parts Outside Sales

Outside Parts Sales PositionWestrux International is looking to fill an Outside Parts Sales Position. In this role the Outside Parts Salesperson's responsibility is to represent the Parts Department in the customer's place of business, address their parts and service needs, respond to information inquiries, process parts orders, identify sales opportunities and sell additional parts and service.The primary duties and responsibilities of the Outside Parts Salesperson are to professionally represent the Parts Department identify additional sales opportunities and achieve sales goals by:Becoming a welcomed visitor to the customer's place of business by providing a value-added experience with regular customer visitsGetting to know the customer, the customer's business and the needs of that businessResponding to customer parts or information requests quicklyIdentifying customer needs and opportunities that will produce additional salesThorough preparation for, and presentation of, sales proposalsThe presentation of new parts opportunities during each visitContentious customer service including problem identification and concern resolutionDevelop a fleet profile on new accounts and existing accountsMake cold calls to find and develop new businessQualifications:Commercial Truck Parts experienceExcellent communication skills both written/verbal and effective listening abilityBilingual communication is a plusAn appreciation of the sales process, including the ability to handle objections and ask for the saleAbility to address customers concerns diplomatically, react professionally and identify solutionsThe quality required to work largely unsupervised via effective time and schedule managementComputer skills and basic understanding of computer knowledgeA valid driver's license and current insurance is requiredIn addition to a competitive base wage, you will enjoy commissions, car allowance and a comprehensive benefit package that includes:Medical, Dental, Life and Vision Plans; Paid Vacation and Holidays; 401(k) planWestrux International is a leading transportation services provider in Southern California, Westrux operates 4 locations locally.
