Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:

• Valid, active PEL (Professional Educator License)—please be ready to provide a copy.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher (school-based experience highly valued).
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and accommodations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Dedication to full-time, in-person teaching during the contract period.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans in a resource room setting.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure student success.
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Regularly monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions.
• Engage positively with students, encouraging social, emotional, and academic growth.
