Medical Assistant Opportunity

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Wellesley, MA. This is a 1 year contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Location: Wellesley, MA
• Job Type: 1 year contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)
• Schedule: 8:00-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm (Mon - Fri)
• Pay Range: $21/hr - $23.40/hr on W2

Specific Duties:

• Welcome patients and help with check-in/check-out.
• Verify patient information, medications, and medical history.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist doctors and nurses during examinations and procedures.
• Collect and prepare specimens, such as urine or blood, when trained and authorized.
• Perform basic clinical tests, such as EKGs, as required.
• Clean and prepare examination rooms and medical equipment.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
• BLS/CPR
• Epic Experience
