Receiving Clerk
Pegasus Northwest located in Kent, WA is currently looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our team in a fast paced and rewarding environment. We are looking for a person that is positive, energetic, forward thinking and can be a part of a team. Job duties include:
- Examines articles for defects and sorts articles according to extent of defect.
- Attaches identification data onto article.
- Records factors causing goods to be returned.
- Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments.
- Utilize a personal computer system to conduct warehouse operations, communicate with others, and extract information and process reports for management personnel
- Inform management of concerns regarding problems in the receiving area. Assist with ideas for improvements to this area as well.
- Receive all incoming deliveries, inspect parts/material the same day as received.
- Write up material tags for customer jobs.
- Professional and courteous communication with potential and existing clientele.
Skills / Knowledge:
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
- Have a good computer skills
- Experience working with Excel and Word
- Ability to multi task in a dynamic, fast moving environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Must be a team player with a positive and professional disposition
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and squat throughout an 8-hour shift
- Forklift Experience
