Job Description :

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join our team at Zeo Energy as a Bookkeeper . In this role, you will manage our company's day-to-day financial operations including credit card transactions and commissions payments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in their attention to detail. You'll own the entire collections and payment reconciliation process, having responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our payments and maintaining timely, clear communication with both internal teams and external sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate, process, and record commissions payments
• Evaluate and reconcile credit card statements for accuracy and analyze spend habits
• Assist with budget tracking, expense management, and cost-saving recommendations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and assist with internal or external audits
• Maintain organized and accessible financial documentation and records

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in payroll, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping with a preference of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with sales representatives and handle sensitive financial conversations with tact
• Meticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Familiarity with payroll and accounting softwares
