About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP & Actuary for Enterprise Asset Liability Management Strategy. The successful candidate will serve as the senior actuarial advisor, responsible for advancing the analytical framework that evaluates the interaction of assets, liabilities, product design, and investment strategies. This role is pivotal in providing enterprise insights that support profitable growth, balance sheet management, and long-term financial performance. The AVP & Actuary will work across various organizations, including actuarial, investments, product development, finance, and enterprise risk management, to provide analytical insights into how business decisions influence profitability and long-term value creation. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative discipline, an FSA designation, and a minimum of 19 years of related work experience, or an advanced degree with 16 years of experience, or a total of 23 years of equivalent work experience. The role requires deep expertise in life and annuity products, asset-liability management, actuarial modeling, and enterprise financial dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product design, investment portfolios, and asset-intensive business, and the ability to influence executive-level decisions. Essential skills include exceptional communication, presentation, and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. The role also demands the ability to monitor and assess the implications of emerging economic, regulatory, accounting, and industry developments on the company's financial strategy.
