Experienced Automation Engineer
Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, Functional and Automation Testing within the Banking & Financial Services domain. Proven experience in validating end-to-end banking workflows, designing automation frameworks, executing regression and API testing, and managing test lifecycles using Jira and Zephyr. Skilled in Agile delivery, defect management, requirement analysis, test planning, and CI/CD integration to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Analyze business and functional requirements related to banking applications.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks following industry best practices.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Review business requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scripts.
• Manage test cases, test cycles, and defect tracking using Jira and Zephyr.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Support CI/CD integration and automated test execution pipelines.
• Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
