Software Development Engineer In Test

Collaborates with leaders, fellow engineers, IT architects, technical leads and scrum lead, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop IT solutions according to business requirements.

Maintains and enhances existing code and stored procedures, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development.

Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions.

Participates in Agile ceremonies and provides estimates.

Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines.

Design and develop test automation framework and strategy using Playwright.

Establish Test Automation process and involve in evaluating/planning the automation roadmap.

Create test strategy, test plans and test cases for projects managed through Agile development methodology.

Develop automation scripts for Graph QL APIs and Korber WMS software.

Created data-driven tests to check application performance with different sets of data.

Works closely with IT architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Prior Job Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments.

Skills:

Proficiency as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:

• Node JS – Typescript/Javascript
• Database and persistence frameworks: SQL, Stored Procedures, Mongo DB, Query creation, Query performance tuning
• Cloud-based development: Azure K8
• Web Services: REST; GraphQL
• Frameworks: KOA
• Build/deployment tools: Github and Github Actions
• Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Mezmo
• Other: JavaScript/typescript, VS code
• QA Automation: Cucumber, Playwright, Load testing framework

Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
