The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.To succeed in this role, you should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues. The right candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and able to follow direction while also working independently when needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24-$25 per hourSchedule:8 AM to 4:30 PM (however hours may vary)Monday to FridayOn callWeekends as neededHere are some things that will make you successful:Reliable transportation to get to work1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or residential constructionStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team membersFamiliarity with basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance maintenanceAbility to work independently, follow directions, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWhat you will be doing:As a Maintenance Technician at Bender Companies, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations and overall upkeep of the community.
