Job Description Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required. RPh on the go is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Manager or a 13-week assignment. Shift : Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm Job Summary The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail pharmacy, ensuring the efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services and exceptional customer care. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The Pharmacy Manager will also collaborate with healthcare providers and contribute to the business goals of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication dispensing, and customer service. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. Manage pharmacy workflow to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities. Schedule staff shifts and manage time‑off requests. Customer Service: Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring a high level of service and addressing customer concerns or complaints. Provide consultations and advice on medications, health products, and general wellness. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering medications and supplies. Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals. Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock discrepancies. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations. Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the pharmacy, including budgeting, pricing, and expense control. Monitor and report on pharmacy performance metrics and financial indicators. Business Development: Identify and implement strategies to increase pharmacy sales and profitability. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations. Promote pharmacy services and programs to enhance business growth. Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, new medications, and industry trends. Ensure continuous improvement in pharmacy practices and staff training. Duties Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy, including ordering supplies and equipment, and controlling inventory. Will be hiring, training, and managing the pharmacy's employees. They may also create schedules and evaluate employees. Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations. They also ensure that the pharmacy's policies and procedures are followed. Prepare prescription orders for delivery or collection, and ensure that patients are given the correct medication.
