Retention Hiring Coordinator

$17 - $22 per hour

divh2Retention Hiring Coordinator/h2pThe Retention/Hiring Coordinator oversees the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and orientation process for all new team members in nursing and other departments as needed. Recruiting requires disciplined candidate prospecting behavior with a desire to drive results. The role also focuses on staff retention and promotes good team member morale. Works closely with the Staffing Coordinator on open schedules, upcoming needs to always be recruiting as an integral part of staffing./ppSTNA: $17.00 to $22.00 depending on experience and licensure/ppLPN: $27.5 to $31 depending on experience and licensure/ppRN: $32.00 to $38.00 depending on experience and licensure/ppWhy Our Staff Have Chosen to Work Here:/pulliIts not just a job. It is a career - we can provide scholarship and tuition reimbursements to help you grow./liliDaily Pay Get paid the same or next day if needed/liliFlexible schedules - 8 and 12 hour shifts available/liliCompetitive Wages with low cost medical and dental insurance/liliWork in a clean facility with access to all supplies needed to provide the highest quality of care./li/ulpResponsibilities/pulliDirectly responsible for recruiting new team members, as well as orientation./liliNotifies the DON, ADON, potentially the LNHA and Corporate Recruiter of trends that indicate an increase in turnover rates and challenged morale./liliOversees the applicant tracking systems used by the facility in conjunction with nursing leadership and the facility administrator/liliCoordinates, largely by doing, immediate follow up calls/communication with potential candidates demonstrating interest in employment and responding to ads and postings./liliConnect by phone/text/voice within 24 hours to potential job candidates./liliProcesses applications which includes: reference checks, background checks, drug screens, physicals, license verification, all applicable releases and all other necessary and required documentation and processes./liliFormulates interviews, on-boarding and orientation schedules for nursing staff./liliIdentifies, trains and coordinates qualified staff member for the role of preceptor with assistance and input from Nursing Leadership and perhaps Corporate Nurse Trainers./li/ulpQualifications/pulliThe Retention/Hiring Coordinator must display excellent communication skills, particularly in negotiating situations and scenarios that could have competing viewpoints./liliHave a communication style that is clear and calming when faced with potentially difficult situations./liliMust establish strong organizational skills to provide consistency in the role with maintaining company policy/liliMust be disciplined to effectively manage time and multiple duties of role./liliMust be goal oriented and driven to achieve targeted goals/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
