- Craft Customized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their individual functional milestones.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices focused on enhancing patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide integrated, compassionate care.
- Teach Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to support their progress at home.
- Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track toward their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited program.
- Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and will be supported.
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
