Material Handler - 1st Shift

We're all part of the same crucial mission, no matter what function we support -- it's to provide safe, clean water for the world, and to protect our planet's most valuable resource.Scope of PositionThis experienced individual, as part of the Shipping department, will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders along with continuing development within the department.This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls, WI.Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.Accurately transfer finished goods into inventory.Accurately count and organize products in warehouse.Cycle count locations and communicate variances.Ability to systemically ship standard orders. (ex: General carriers, UPS)Display proficiency with RF scan gun functions.Experienced in most department computer applications.Assist with training of department employees.Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.Completes industrial lift truck certifications.Maintains department standards and appearance.Collaborate effectively with all team members across departments.Helps support other department functions as needed.Help create and maintain a positive work environment.Understand and abide by all company safety policies.Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Company management.Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.Basic computer skills.3+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role.1+ years of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and/or cherry pickers.Experience with ERP systems.Proficient with RF scan gun functions.Must be comfortable with heights, as this role may require picking product from high racks in the warehouse.Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.General Applicable Company CompetenciesCommitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.Punctuality and dependability.Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.Adherence to Watts' seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.Working ConditionsWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's location in Menomonee Falls, WI.
