Job Summary

Alchemy is seeking a Product Enablement Specialist to join our product team. In this hybrid role, you'll combine technical writing and training to deliver clear documentation and scalable education for both internal teams and customers. You’ll own how we communicate product functionality—from “what’s new” to “how-to”—while enabling our users to become confident and efficient in Alchemy’s platform.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of clarity, education, and technology in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain all user-facing product documentation: guides, manuals, release notes, FAQs.

• Create high-quality training content including videos, walkthroughs, onboarding decks, and LMS-ready modules.

• Deliver live and recorded training sessions for both internal teams (sales, support, customer success) and external users.

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to stay ahead of product changes and user needs.

• Own the structure and upkeep of our documentation and training systems (e.g., Zendesk Guide, Documentation Portal, LMS tools).

• Ensure materials are accessible, up to date, and aligned with Alchemy’s tone and quality standards.

• Help define and evolve the customer onboarding experience through training workflows and content strategy.

• Be a user advocate—translating product complexity into simple, effective guidance.

Requirements

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, training, or product enablement at a SaaS company.

• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.

• Experience presenting to and educating both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency with documentation platforms and tools (Markdown, Google Docs, Zendesk Guide, etc.).

• Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

You might have:

• Background in chemistry, materials science, or scientific software (e.g., LIMS/ELN).

• Experience building training programs or courseware in a learning management system.

• Familiarity with tools for creating video or interactive training content.
