Offering a full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, there is also flexibility for outstanding part-time applicants. Serve a diverse K-12 student population, providing vital communication support in an engaging school environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (ASHA CCC required; Clinical Fellows are not eligible)
• Previous school-based SLP experience
• Skills to manage a K-12 caseload, adapting therapy strategies for varying age groups and needs
• Commitment to fully onsite services; virtual or remote work is not available
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized speech and language therapy for students
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, or communication needs
• Developing and updating IEPs in alignment with school and state requirements
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student progress
• Maintaining accurate records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all school district standards
