We are seeking a Paid Media Team Lead with deep expertise in paid search to lead strategy, forecasting, optimization, and client growth across a portfolio of accounts while managing and developing a team of three paid media professionals.

\n

\n

We're looking for a strategist and people leader, not just a campaign manager. You'll be responsible for developing paid media strategies that align with business objectives, translating data into actionable insights, and partnering cross-functionally to drive measurable results for our clients. You’ll also provide day-to-day leadership for your team, helping prioritize workloads, strengthen strategic thinking, maintain high standards of execution, and support each team member’s professional growth.

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strategic thinking and strong leadership skills, understands the evolving search landscape, and can confidently guide clients and internal teams through modern paid media best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of three paid media professionals through coaching, regular feedback, goal setting, workload prioritization, and career development
\n
• Provide strategic oversight across the team's portfolio, delegating effectively while maintaining visibility into account performance, deliverable quality, client needs, deadlines, and potential risks
\n
• Serve as an escalation point and strategic resource, helping the team navigate complex account performance, measurement, and client challenges
\n
• Develop and lead paid media strategies across Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads, including Paid Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Display, aligning channel mix, audiences, and budgets with client business goals
\n
• Serve as the strategic lead for assigned accounts, guiding client conversations and translating performance data into actionable recommendations, growth opportunities, and measurable business outcomes
\n
• Lead forecasting, budget planning, and performance modeling for multi-million dollar annual media budgets and efficiency targets
\n
• Partner with Analytics, Creative, Web, SEO, and Client Services to strengthen measurement, conversion performance, and integrated client strategy
\n
• Leverage AI, automation, and emerging platform capabilities to improve analysis, decision-making, efficiency, and campaign performance while driving adoption of new tools and best practices across the team
\n
• Partner with Paid Media leadership on resource planning, account coverage, team processes, quality standards, and broader department initiatives

Requirements

\n

\n
• 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience in an agency environment, managing multiple client accounts and complex campaigns
\n
• Previous people management experience leading paid media professionals, including coaching, 1:1"s, performance feedback, delegation, goal setting, and professional development
\n
• Expert level knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Paid Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Display
\n
• Experience managing $1M+ annual media budgets, including forecasting, budget allocation, performance planning, and identifying growth opportunities
\n
• Strong understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, attribution, and measurement strategy
\n
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data and platform metrics into actionable recommendations and meaningful business outcomes
\n
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic client advisor, confidently presenting performance insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities to key stakeholders
\n
• Experience using AI, automation, reporting, and data-visualization tools to improve analysis, efficiency, decision-making, and campaign performance
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate across Analytics, Creative, SEO, Web, and Client Services and influence strategic decisions
\n
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to oversee multiple team members, client accounts, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
