About the Position

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred experience in an acute care facility License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients' health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward achieving outcomes for patients. Identifies outcomes for patients or their situations. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in delivering care. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
