Service Coordinator

Service Coordinator / Technical Customer Support Bedford, OH (On-Site) $20-$25/hour Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Do you enjoy troubleshooting and helping customers solve technical issues? A growing security technology company is seeking Service Coordinators to support customers experiencing alarm and security system issues. This role is ideal for someone with customer service, technical support, dispatch, call center, cable/internet, telecommunications, or security industry experience. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping diagnose problems, walk users through solutions, and coordinate technician visits when issues require on-site support. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls and emails regarding security and alarm systems Troubleshoot issues with alarm panels, sensors, batteries, keypads, and other security equipment Guide customers through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures Resolve issues remotely whenever possible Schedule and coordinate field technicians for service calls Maintain and update service tickets and customer records Communicate with technicians and internal departments to ensure timely resolutions Deliver exceptional customer service while handling multiple priorities Required Qualifications 1 year of customer service, technical support, dispatching, or call center experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working with Microsoft Office and other computer applications Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting alarm, security, low-voltage, telecommunications, cable, or internet services Previous dispatching or service coordination experience Experience working from troubleshooting guides and procedures Familiarity with platforms such as Alarm.com, Honeywell, DMP, or similar technologies Ideal Candidate Enjoys troubleshooting technical problems Can remain calm and professional under pressure Has a customer-first mindset Likes solving issues and finding solutions Works well in a team-oriented environment What's in It for You?
