Facility Manager

Responsibilities Manages corporate owned healthcare facility and other campus buildings including outpatient, and office space. Manages maintenance team including regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance, and personnel management and development. Ensures all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations. Responsible for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established operating budgets. First point of escalation for all facility concerns and/or grievances by facility occupants. Creates annual Individual Performance Management Program templates for all direct reports. Manages staff training related to proper facility maintenance techniques. Partners with JLL Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Managers to ensure all vendor contracts are implemented correctly. Requirements College degree in a related Engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade school, preferred. 3+ years of commercial Facility Management, Plant Operations, Engineering, or maintenance supervision experience, hospital experience preferred. Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities. Regulatory compliance experience including, but not limited to TJC, DNV, AAAHC, and WA DPH. Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual compliance. Fundamental skills in building critical systems such as HVAC, electrical and mechanical, life safety systems, power distribution systems is preferred. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing ability.
