Unarmed Security Specialist

An Unarmed Security Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises, enforcing security policies, and responding to security incidents. You do not carry firearms but may use other non-lethal security equipment. Schedule Days, Swings, and Nights available Sunday - Saturday (7 days a week). Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or training) State-issued security officer license (unarmed) Previous security experience is often preferred but not always required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain composed under pressure and make sound judgments Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods Attention to detail and observation skills Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of the designated area to deter criminal activity and ensure safety. Monitor and control access points, checking identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation. Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security equipment. Document security incidents, accidents, and observations accurately and in a timely manner. Provide assistance and information to visitors and employees, answering questions and addressing concerns. Enforce security protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Administer first aid and CPR if required and trained to do so.
