Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:

• Provides comprehensive engineering expertise and technical support, reviewing designs for sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects that involve general, architectural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering systems.
• Performs a wide range of project management functions, from establishing intake procedures and chairing review meetings to developing requirement packages, reviewing contract statements of work, and serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for complex projects.
• Manages and provides technical support for the Integrated Technology Division's AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Geospatial Information System (GIS) programs by developing investment strategies, validating facility requirements, and advocating for program resources.
• Leads and participates in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to coordinate initiatives, keep abreast of innovations in multidisciplinary engineering, and ensure the successful application of new technologies and standards to building systems.
