This facility is a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center. The unit performs various procedures, including shockwave therapy, angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, and Y90 treatments. Additional procedures include transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, direct intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, and balloon occluded retrograde transvenous obliterations. The average census is 20 cases per day across 6 interventional radiology rooms. The position involves on-call requirements, averaging 8-10 days per month, which includes weekends. Weekend calls are part of the job requirements. Free onsite parking is available. Scrubs are provided for the role. All travelers must comply with fit testing requirements. Failure to meet fit testing guidelines will result in cancellation of the assignment. This facility has comprehensive support from interdisciplinary teams. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The role requires skills in various interventional radiology techniques, including but not limited to carotid angiography, cerebral angiography, and management of ventilators. Preferred qualifications may include charge nurse experience and familiarity with specific interventional devices. Candidates living within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted as travelers. Please note that all clinicians must adhere to agency guidelines regarding the duration of travel employment.
