Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures per physician orders and department protocols, ensuring proper patient positioning, technique, and image quality
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain steps, screen for safety concerns, and implement shielding and safety measures as required
- Operate radiographic equipment, optimize exposure settings, process images, and conduct basic quality checks prior to radiologist review
- Maintain radiation safety standards, apply ALARA principles, and protect patients, staff, and visitors during imaging procedures
- Document imaging findings, relay essential information to radiologists, and assist with image storage, retrieval, and coordinating with other clinical teams
- Collaborate with radiology colleagues and hospital staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging services and patient throughput

Requirements
- ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with active certification in Radiography; state licensure requirements applicable to Georgia should be met
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Tech (within the specialty)
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department during the stated shift and hours; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
