Safety Coordinator Aerospace

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. As a key player in our aerospace facility, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Your expertise will help us uphold the highest safety standards while fostering a culture of safety among our employees. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance. Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures. Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to workplace safety. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in the aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
