Ultrasound TechnologistThe registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for ultrasound diagnosis. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination.Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: chorionic villus sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis.Experience with electronic medical databases, like Epic.Why Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
