Patients are often admitted for acute inpatient rehabilitation with the following conditions or diagnosis: amputation, brain injury, cardiac or pulmonary conditions, hip fracture, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, stroke, spinal cord injury, or traumatic injury/fractures. Job Details Our Acute Rehab Registered Nurses (RNs) will: * Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the Rehab patient population * Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. * Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. What you'll bring: * Passion for Rehab Nursing * 1+ Years of working RN experience * New Grad RNs may be considered * Previous Subacute Rehab, long term care, nursing home, or acute care experience preferred * Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program * Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Salary Range USD $54.97 - USD $64.20 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
