Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Stepdown Cardiac care to join our team. The successful candidate will work nights on a three-night-per-week rotation and every third weekend. This position requires a focus on patient care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Cardiac unit.
• Monitor patients and assess their conditions, responding to changes as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare practices.

Qualifications

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Valid nursing license (single state or compact) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown or Telemetry nursing required.
• Experience with EPIC system is mandatory.

Shift Information

This position includes three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with scheduled blocks to promote work-life balance.
