Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Medical Technologist Labcorp is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our Clinical Pathology team in Madison, WI ! Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm flexibility to work overtime as needed Job Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and result reporting in accordance with SOPs and quality standards. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Ensure the accuracy of test results through quality control, documentation, and corrective action processes. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, laboratory policies, and safety procedures. Support laboratory operations through assay validations, inventory management, proficiency testing, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications ASCP certification (MT or MLT) Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science and completion of a 12-month Medical Technology training program Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience in a clinical laboratory environment. 1 year or more of experience performing clinical pathology testing, assay validation, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and regulatory compliance requirements. Additional Job Standards Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity. Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines and turnaround times. Pay Rate Pay Rate: $32/hr.
