What we’re looking for:

• Valid California license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
• Experience supporting occupational therapy services in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans developed by Occupational Therapists and effectively work with teachers, families, and other school staff
• Dedication to fostering growth, independence, and functional skills for students

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the implementation of individualized and group occupational therapy interventions for students with varying needs
• Supporting students in developing motor skills, sensory regulation, and tools for classroom participation
• Documenting student progress and responses to therapy, maintaining accurate and timely records as required by school and district policies
• Collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists, educators, and other professional staff to address IEP goals and support student inclusion
• Promoting a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all students
