Senior Paid Search Manager

LHH is currently recruiting for a strategic and hands‑on Senior Paid Search Manager for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of paid search experience, preferably within an advertising agency. This role requires a Google Ads and Microsoft Ads expert who can direct strategy and assist their team. This is a hybrid opportunity at our client’s office in the Dallas area. Responsibilities Lead the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Develop and guide media plans that align with business goals, audience strategies, budget targets, and performance expectations. Manage and mentor a team, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support for professional development. Provide leadership and direction to junior team members or direct reports, helping them strengthen planning, campaign execution, and analytical skills. Serve as a strategic partner by identifying growth opportunities, testing recommendations, and performance improvement initiatives. Remain hands‑on in platforms as needed, including campaign builds, optimizations, budget pacing, keyword strategy, bid management, and ad copy testing. Analyze campaign performance and translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans. Monitor pacing, spend, and KPI performance to ensure campaigns are meeting efficiency and volume goals. Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders, clients, or partner teams to align paid search efforts with broader media and marketing objectives. Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, automation tools, and best practices across paid search. Qualifications 5+ years of paid search experience, with a strong track record of managing and optimizing performance‑driven campaigns. Required experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Strong understanding of paid search strategy, campaign structure, keyword development, bidding approaches, testing methodology, and performance analysis. Ability to move between strategic planning and hands‑on execution based on business needs. Experience developing media plans and using data to inform recommendations and investment decisions. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Agency experience is highly preferred. Previous leadership or people management experience is highly preferred.
