About the RoleAs Senior Manager, Marketing Measurement & Decision Science, you will set strategy, roadmap and serve as directive lead to create best-in-class personalized experiences for Kohl’s customers through use of advanced analytics geared towards diagnostics, customer level 1:1 modeling, as well as in-market testing.What You’ll DoLead team that uses big data and advanced analytical techniques to optimize customer engagement and lifetime valueUse customer level 1:1 analysis/modeling for targeting initiativesPlay the lead role in consolidating learnings towards personalization initiatives that help make data based targeting more powerful over timePartner with Marketing, Pricing, Digital, Merchandising, and Store leadership to identify learning opportunities, design experiments, measure results, and scale successful initiativesOversee flawless activation of tests, ensuring essential model runs, segmentation and timelines are provided to key stakeholdersEnsure relevant analytics assets and tests are documented and that any insights are capturedPartner with Technology teams to implement the flawless roll-out of modeling solutions in productionAct as main liaison with business partners in Personalization, Customer Strategy and Media teams to identify use-cases for modeling projects, and optimize model usage to drive highest business impactFoster a high-performing team environment by developing talent, providing coaching and feedback, and building strong partnerships across the organizationManage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment while leveraging strong communication, storytelling, and data visualization skillsAdditional tasks may be assignedWhat Skills You HaveRequiredMaster’s Degree in quantitative areas such as Applied Mathematics, data science or related field7+ years of relevant analytics experience4+ years of leadership experience or oversight of a team Proficient in Python for modeling and SQL for data manipulation Experience with developing and scaling predictive models and optimization algorithms for marketing use cases (retail preferred)Strong understanding of experimentation design and causal inference (A/B testing, test-and-learn frameworks)Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods and translating data into actionable insightsPreferredPh.D. in hard sciences, computer science, engineering, or other applicable fieldAbility to influence, collaborate and partner with teams and leaders across an organizationExperience with cutting edge frameworks such as AgentAI, Deep LearningJob SummaryJob number: R475377Profession: Marketing, eComm & Creative
