Construction Litigation Paralegal

Michael Best & Friedrich is seeking a Construction Litigation Paralegal with at least 2 years of experience to join the Charlotte office! The Construction Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with various substantive and administrative responsibilities including but not limited to the tasks below. Responsibilities Preparing, filing and serving pleadings and discovery materials Categorize and interpret data; review and analyze reports, responses and records produced by opposing counsel Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved in litigation by way of consistent communication with client, claims and full partnership with attorney through end of case Conduct legal research including cite and fact checking, pulling cases and documentation, shepardizing, and citation verification Coordinate with outside vendors and agencies such as court reporters, law clerks, eDiscovery vendors, etc. Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence Update and maintain internal databases Organize relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation Prepare for, and attend, depositions, hearings, administrative law trials and jury trials The Company This is an opportunity to work with the Best.
