Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2280 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. - Gynecology, urology, plastic, and colorectal experience required (at least 2 of 4 of these required).

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Flap management preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: - RTO approved: 10/22 - 10/26, 11/2, 11/19 - 11/29, 12/1, 12/17/2026.

Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Cares for patients across gynecology, urology, plastics, and ENT. - Specialized procedures include free flap monitoring for breast reconstruction after mastectomy and airway management for new tracheostomies. - Patient population includes gynecology oncology; urology patients with urinary diversion surgeries including neobladder, ileal conduit with urostomy, and Indiana pouch; plastics patients with gender-affirming surgeries and free flap reconstruction; and ENT patients with new tracheostomies. - Provides patient and family education following urinary diversion surgeries to prepare patients for self-care at home. - Frequent flap monitoring for ENT and plastics patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Sunday-Saturday scheduling. - Weekends based on unit needs. - Some holiday shifts available.

Floating Requirements: - May float to other med/surg units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
