Description What You Will Be Responsible For

• Executing standard and sophisticated clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluating test outcomes for precision, resolving discrepancies, and conducting routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Helping with specimen collection and preparing samples for analysis, as needed.
• Documenting all procedures meticulously, guiding new team members or interns, and ensuring adherence to lab quality assurance protocols.
• Maintaining a tidy and safe laboratory space while following all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, plus preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintaining active certification throughout your tenure.
