Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, following a 3x12-hour schedule. Weekend shifts may be necessary, and the candidate may float to other facilities as needed.

Assignment Duration

This is an 8 to 12-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care services to patients in accordance with established protocols and exhibit competency in various respiratory interventions. The candidate must be dedicated to ensuring high standards of patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory therapy and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for care provided.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current NBRC certification and BLS certification required at the time of submission.
• Valid Ohio RRT licensure in hand.
• Experience in a charge role or relevant specialty experience preferred.
