Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of acute ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,
• Night shift schedule from 6:45p-7:15a,
• Required to work every other weekend,
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week,
• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required,

Additional Information

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care,
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to support care needs,
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge,
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while serving as a mentor/preceptor,
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives,
• Comply with regulatory standards and engage in a Practice Governance model
