Build through your own network and referrals, pursue inbound sales-call opportunities, or combine both approaches.

• Independent prospecting: Develop business through relationships, referrals, community connections, and permitted marketing activities.
• Inbound sales-call opportunities: Access prospective clients through an available inbound-call program.
• Commission and call-support options: Depending on the commission level you select, Phil-Am may cover inbound-call costs. Company-funded calls are available under qualifying commission arrangements; other arrangements may require you to pay per inbound call.

We’ll explain the available commission levels, call-cost responsibilities, and program terms before you choose an arrangement. Call availability and sales results are not guaranteed.

What you’ll do

• Develop prospective client relationships through your own outreach, available inbound sales calls, or both.
• Listen to clients and understand their coverage needs and financial goals.
• Once properly licensed and appointed, explain suitable life insurance options and assist with applications.
• Follow up with prospects and clients throughout the application process.
• Organize your sales activity and maintain accurate records.
• Follow applicable insurance, marketing, and carrier requirements.

Who we’re looking for

• Self-motivated people interested in building an independent insurance business.
• Strong communicators who listen, explain clearly, and follow through.
• Candidates comfortable speaking with prospective clients and developing relationships.
• People who can manage their work independently in a remote setting.
• Licensed life insurance agents—or candidates willing to obtain the required license before conducting licensed activities.

Experience in sales, insurance, customer service, or business ownership is helpful.

Understand the opportunity

This is a commission-only, 1099 independent-contractor opportunity , with no base salary or hourly pay . Compensation varies based on production and the commission and call-support arrangement selected. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Inbound-call costs may be covered by Phil-Am under qualifying commission arrangements. If your selected arrangement includes agent-funded calls, you will be responsible for the disclosed per-call charges. An inbound call does not guarantee a sale.
