Project Financial Analyst

Project Financial AnalystSignalink is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and execution across a portfolio of DoD programs. This role works closely with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are properly planned, tracked, forecasted, and reported throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting government contracts in a contractor environment.Responsibilities and DutiesTrack project budget versus actual costs across labor, ODCs, travel, and subcontractorsDevelop and maintain project spend plans, forecasts, and associated templatesSupport monthly program reviews and financial reporting activitiesPrepare and support monthly customer cost reporting as requiredPerform labor forecasting and support resource planning effortsSupport project setup, tracking, and reporting activities within UnanetGenerate recurring and ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and status updatesCoordinate with various teams to maintain accurate project financial dataSupport process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, and project controlsRequirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferredMinimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting government contracts in a contractor environmentExperience with budgeting, forecasting, spend plans, and variance analysisFamiliarity with CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract typesStrong Microsoft Excel, organizational, analytical, and communication skillsActive Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain onePreferred Experience and KnowledgeExperience supporting DoD, Army, aviation, or aerospace programsFamiliarity with FAR/DFARS and government cost reporting practicesHands-on experience with UnanetWhat We Offer:Our industry-leading benefits package goes above and beyond competitive salary commensuration for those just beginning their career and seasoned professionals alike.
