Description

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospitalist team at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia! Responsibilities for this position include floor calls and assisting the physician with admissions and discharges. Enjoy working a flexible block 7-on, 7-off schedule from 6p-6a. A minimum of one year of NP/PA inpatient experience is preferred.

Opportunity Overview

• 7-on, 7-off block schedule model
• Night shift: 6p-6a
• Average night admissions is 9 per night
• Great compensation package
• No solo clinician coverage required; the clinician hired for this role will work alongside a hospitalist physician
• The hospital medicine team will run the code if it's a patient on the hospitalist service otherwise, the ED runs codes/no procedures required
• Acute Care NP certification (ACNP) is preferred

Facility Description

Serving as a regional referral source for northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama, Redmond Regional Medical Center is a 230-bed facility that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs. The facility features an Accredited Chest Pain Center with percutaneous coronary intervention and a full-service cardiology product line making it nationally recognized as a top cardiac care center. Redmond has also received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and eight disease-specific certifications for exceptional care in the areas of cardiology, stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal surgery and vascular surgery. Other specialty areas that Redmond is well-recognized for include emergency medicine, oncology and inpatient rehabilitation.
