Associate Director

Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey is seeking a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic and student-focused academics support professional to serve as Associate Director of Transfer Students. Reporting to the Director of Transfer and Adult Enrollment, the Associate Director is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for transfer and adult students enrolling at Felician University from the point of acceptance through initial course advisement. S/he oversees transfer credit evaluations, posting transfer credit into the system, and provides guidance for first-semester registration, and supports the Director in maintaining the transfer equivalency database, assisting faculty and academic deans in the credit equivalency determination process for transfer articulation agreements. Required Education BA/BS degree in education, counseling, marketing, or a related field required. Master’s degree in preferred Qualifications 3+ year’s experience in an enrollment management office (admissions, registrar, financial aid); 2+ year’s experience supporting college students in an academic or counseling capacity; demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and challenges of transfer and adult students; proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Ellucian Colleague, and SLATE; Superior written and verbal communications skills; excellent organizational and data management skills; demonstrated ability to work autonomously with multiple priorities and deadlines; strong interpersonal skills, with a sensitivity to and ability to engage with and direct a culturally and religiously divers student population; ability and willingness to work evening, weekend, and flex schedules as needed; willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
