Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential classroom and one-on-one support as a Special Education Paraprofessional. This contract opportunity, located near Roseville, CA, runs through the end of May 2026. Work closely with K-12 students, supporting their academic, social, and behavioral growth. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule—30 hours per week—with a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students with diverse disabilities and learning needs
- Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families
- Ability to implement behavior support plans and positive intervention strategies, aligning with district requirements
- Experience providing instructional assistance, adapting and reinforcing classroom lessons as directed by certified staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to address individual student needs in various classroom settings
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
- Highly organized, with keen observation and recordkeeping skills to aid in data collection and progress monitoring
- Ability to follow IEPs and help students reach academic, social, and behavioral objectives
Role Highlights:
- Provide one-on-one or classroom-wide student support, under the guidance of certified teachers
- Implement and reinforce individualized learning strategies
- Assist in gathering data to track student progress and outcomes
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
- Start as soon as possible and continue through the school year, working with a single student or whole classrooms as assigned
