Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ year of data entry experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy rates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems
• Very reliable with strong communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain patient medical charts within the EHR system
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic information
• Assign insurance information, ensuring correct entry into the system
• Upload, document, and organize provider notes and clinical documentation within patient charts
• Assist with insurance filing by ensuring documentation is complete and properly attached
• Review and interpret handwritten or dictated provider notes for accurate data entry
• Ensure all records meet compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality standards
• Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to clarify missing or unclear information
• Maintain organized and timely processing of all incoming documentation
