Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned. Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures. Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Work on special projects, as directed. Perform other related duties and tasks, as required. Preferred SkillsDemonstrated experience performing complex mechanical analyses (FEA, dynamic response, seismic/LOCA, stress/fatigue, FIV/FSI, shipping and handling, or related)Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical results to customers, regulators, or cross-functional engineering teamsAbility to lead and mentor teams.What You'll BringBachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 5 years of related experience.Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Displays leadership characteristics. Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking. Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.Total Rewards PackageSalary: $99,000 - $134,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
