Job Description: Network Engineering team is responsible for architecting, building, automating, and managing our global network infrastructure. As a Network Engineer, you will work with talented colleagues on challenging projects within the TechOps Infrastructure. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting client network infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, as well as our on‑premises network infrastructure. Responsibilities Manage and support all network and network security infrastructure running on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Oracle Clouds. Ensure network stability and performance for Rubrik Inc. on‑premises and public cloud networks. Provide support for network infrastructure problems by monitoring the team’s support queue, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, identifying root cause of critical issues, and ensuring corrective action is taken following problem identification. Participate in on‑call rotation. Qualifications 7+ years of extensive network engineering experience, architecture, designing and implementing enterprise (data centre/public cloud) infrastructure at scale using industry standard networking solutions. Proficient in public cloud platforms. Public cloud network certifications are a plus. (At least one cloud experience is needed.) Understanding of enterprise network design, including data centre, campus, public cloud, and global WAN connectivity. Understanding of networking technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, VPN, L2 switching, and VxLAN. Knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols. Hands‑on experience with multiple hardware vendors, including Cisco IOS, NX‑OS, Meraki, Mellanox, and Cumulus. Knowledge of network layer security, including firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), 802.1.x, network authentication systems, and VPN technologies.
