We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Delivery Professional to join our team at our Billerica, MA Service Center. Matthews International is a world wide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal and cremation caskets and other products to our funeral home customers. This position will be responsible for the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans. Work Shift: First Shift, our Delivery Drivers are home every early afternoon. Pay Rate: $22 - hourly. Work Schedule: 2-3 days a week, days could vary. Need flexible availability. Weekly Hours: Our Delivery Professionals can expect to work between 25 - 29 hours.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDelivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.Contribute to our warehouse operations as required, assisting in tasks such as prepping, loading and unloading caskets, inventory management, and maintaining an organized workspace.Service our customers with a friendly and welcoming smile.Additional duties as assigned.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous delivery driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have current driver's license (CDL is NOT required). Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.
