The Department of Medicine at our organization is in search of a full-time Academic Rheumatologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to become a part of our Division of Rheumatology. This role provides a chance to engage in comprehensive rheumatology practice within a collaborative and academically driven setting.

Position Overview:

• Outpatient rheumatology practice addressing a wide array of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Responsibilities include inpatient consult services.
• Engagement in multidisciplinary clinics and innovative care models.
• Exposure to a variety of complex rheumatologic conditions.
• A vibrant academic atmosphere with opportunities to educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Possibilities to initiate or take part in clinical and/or translational research.
• Collaborative care approach involving Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and support personnel.

Candidate Qualifications:

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
• Proven clinical proficiency in managing rheumatologic diseases.
• Strong dedication to medical education and mentorship.
• Interest or experience in clinical research is highly preferred.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
• Qualification for medical licensure in New York State.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Attractive base salary range of $240,000-$270,000, commensurate with rank and experience, along with additional incentive bonuses based on clinical and academic performance.
