Medical Director of Hospital Medicine - Syracuse, NY

Clinical Role: Medical Director - Hospital Medicine

Role Overview

Lead and manage the Hospital Medicine team in a full-time day-shift leadership role
Provide oversight for inpatient care delivery, performance metrics, and quality initiatives
Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to implement best practices
Support recruitment, retention, and training efforts
Use Epic EMR for documentation and workflow

Schedule & Availability

Hours: Approximately 40-50 hours/week
Days: Monday-Friday
No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Experience & Requirements

Board Certification: Required (or within 2 years of eligibility)
Experience: Must have prior Hospital Medicine leadership experience; no fresh graduates
Candidates Not Accepted: Locum tenens, visa sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Competitive annual salary
Incentive: $25,000 sign-on bonus
