Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients in a high-acuity setting
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including RNs, paramedics, and secretaries
• Utilize standard emergency/trauma equipment competently
• Adapt to variable patient ratios based on unit acuity and volume
• Maintain accurate records using EMR system Meditech

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current Texas RN licensure or eligibility for compact license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• SAMA, CPI, or equivalent certification (support for obtaining provided)
