About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Plano, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Self-scheduling; 4 weekend shifts per month required**Highlights:** - 38-bed Emergency Department with dedicated trauma bays, burn room, psych room, and vertical treatment area- Certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma center, and accredited burn facility- Variable patient ratios based on acuity and volume with dedicated charge nurse support- Standard emergency and trauma equipment with Meditech EMR system- Flexible cross-training opportunities at sister facilities available- Royal blue scrubs (branded preferred)**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license eligible- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required- SAMA, CPI, or equivalent (30-day grace period available if not currently certified)- ENPC certification preferred- Emergency department experience strongly preferred- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Emergency Department position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive, multi-accredited facility with advanced capabilities in trauma, stroke, chest pain, and burn care.
